Penegra 25 mg tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. It increases blood flow to the penile to help men get a firm erection. This medicine is manufactured by Zydus Fortiza.
Active Ingredient:
Sildenafil Citrate acts as the main ingredient of this medicine. It works by helping to relax the blood vessels in your penile, allowing blood to flow into your penis when you get sexually excited. This tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor.
Uses:
For treating Erectile Dysfunction, Penegra 25 mg tablet belongs to a group of medicines called PDE5 inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penile region. This allows blood to flow into the penile and produce an erection when sexually aroused. This medicine will only help to get an erection if you are sexually stimulated. It is very effective but it needs to be consumed at least 30 minutes before sexual activity.
This also works in pulmonary hypertension by relaxing the blood vessels in the lungs to allow lifeblood to flux more easily. Penegra 25 helps you to sustain or give a firm penile erection for longer sexual activity. This is achieved with an increase in blood flow to the penile region which is caused due to this medicine. The effectiveness of this medicine stays upto 4 hours in our bloodstream.
Note:
Do not take this tablet if you have had a heart attack in the past 3 months, or stroke or heart failure in the past 6 months. Do not take this medicine if you also take other medicines called nitrates (often given for chest pain). This tablet may be consumed with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid overconsumption of this pill as it may lead to severe side effects such as dizziness, headache, blurred vision, muscle pain, nose bleed, flushing, stiffness, etc.
